Questions & Answers

Q: I am a vegan, can I still participate in the program?

A: Yes, one of the key principles of the CHEF Coaching program is providing plant-based food cooking skills that can be applied to any diet a person follows.

Q: Do I need to have access to a kitchen?

A: Access to a kitchen is recommended during the third session of CHEF Coaching Beyond the Basics.  During the session you will log on from your kitchen, using the same video conference setup used in the other sessions, and cook with the CHEF Coaching faculty. Between classes participants are encouraged to practice new skills and recipes in their kitchen.

Q: What if I have a conflict during one of the sessions and need to reschedule?

A: Tele-classes are recorded for the participants’ convenience, but please note viewing the recordings does not count toward the attendance requirement.

Small group practice sessions are not recorded. The educational experience in the small groups is supported by the community that forms. It is for this reason that we are not recommending the option of joining another group.

Q: Is it possible to participate from outside the United States?
